Travel to Nottingham

A map of the University Park campus can be obtained from the University webpage, along with general directions on how to get to the University.

By Car

Take the M1 motorway and leave it at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at The Priory roundabout (about 4 miles from M1), then left at next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.

By Plane

The closest possibility is East Midlands Airport (EMA) (about 12 miles). You can take the SkyLink Shuttle. The journey takes 45 minutes and buses are every 30 minutes until 11pm, then hourly until 4am when the half hourly service resumes. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall.

You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.

Car Parking

There is a free carpark located opposite the Lenton and Wortley Hall. If you wish to use the carpark you should ensure that you obtain a permit when you collect your keys which you should display in your car.

Projection Facilities

We will have the usual overhead projector and facilities for projecting Powerpoint presentations. As ever with Powerpoint you probably should have a back-up (e.g. a PDF) in the event of an incompatibility between our system and yours.
